Copyright and Takedown Policy

Rumble Rummy (rumble-rummy.net) is an independent guide to card game apps. We write our own text and take our own screenshots, but we sometimes show app names, logos or interface images to identify the app being reviewed. If you think something on this site uses your work without permission, or is inaccurate about you, this page explains how to tell us and what happens next.

Rights holder, material and counter notice defined

  • Rights holder: the person or company that owns the copyright or trademark, or someone authorised to act for them.
  • Takedown request: a written request to remove or change specific material.
  • Material: any text, image, logo, screenshot or file on a page of this site.
  • Counter notice: a reply from the person whose content was removed, if they believe the removal was a mistake.

This page is for app publishers, game studios, writers, photographers and anyone else who believes material on this site belongs to them. It also covers people named on the site who want a factual error corrected.

Send your request by email to contact@rumble-rummy.net with “Takedown request” in the subject.

1Identify the page
2Describe the material
3Show ownership
4Add your contact details
5Confirm in good faith
  1. Identify the page. Give the full URL, such as a page under /rummy-apps/ or /blogs/.
  2. Describe the material. Say which text, image or logo is concerned, and where it appears on the page.
  3. Show ownership. Link to the original work or attach proof that you own it or are authorised to act for the owner.
  4. Add your contact details. Name, company if any, and an email address we can reply to.
  5. Confirm in good faith. State that you believe the use is not authorised and that the information in your request is accurate.

What to gather before you email us

Collect the URLs and the original material first. A request that names only “your site” without a page cannot be acted on. If you act for a company, include your role. We do not need personal documents such as Aadhaar or PAN, and you should not send them.

How we handle logo and copied text requests

A logo or screenshot. An app publisher asks us to stop showing its logo. We reply within a few working days, review the request, and either remove the logo or explain why its use identifies the app in a review.

Copied text. A writer finds a paragraph similar to their article. We compare the two. If ours copies theirs, we rewrite or remove it and confirm by email.

Why we check every takedown request

We receive some requests that are not genuine, so we check each one.

Requests that get extra scrutiny

Requests sent from free email addresses claiming to be large companies, requests that demand payment, and requests asking us to remove honest, negative reviews will get extra checks. A complaint about an app’s service is not a copyright matter. Use our contact page for that instead.

Errors that delay or block a request

Do not send one message covering the whole site. Name each page. Do not send attachments with personal ID. Do not assume we run any app: we are not the app operator and cannot change accounts, balances or withdrawals.

Copyright takedown requests, answered

How do I report copied content on a rummy site?

On rumble-rummy.net, email contact@rumble-rummy.net with 'Takedown request' in the subject. Give the full URL of each page, say which text, image or logo is concerned, show that you own it or act for the owner, and add a reply email. A request that names only 'your site' cannot be acted on. Other ways to reach us are on the contact page.

What should a copyright takedown notice include?

A complete notice names each page by URL, describes the material and where it appears, links to or attaches proof that you own the work or are authorised to act for the owner, gives your name and email, and states in good faith that the use is not authorised. Do not send Aadhaar, PAN or other personal ID. Our editorial policy explains how we source content.

How do I get my app's logo removed from a review site?

Send a written request naming the page and the logo. On rumble-rummy.net, we reply within a few working days, review the request, and either remove the logo or explain why its use identifies the app in a review. We write our own text and take our own screenshots, but show app names and logos to identify apps. See how we review apps.

What is a counter notice in a copyright takedown?

A counter notice is a reply from the person whose content was removed, if they believe the removal was a mistake. It answers a takedown request and asks for the material to be reviewed again. On rumble-rummy.net, send it to contact@rumble-rummy.net and name the page concerned. Our terms and conditions explain how the site's content may be used and quoted.

Which Indian law covers copyright takedowns?

In India, notice and takedown follows the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 with its rules on intermediaries. Anyone, in India or elsewhere, can send a request to rumble-rummy.net, and we handle it in line with Indian law. This is general information, not legal advice. Our disclaimer explains the limits of what this site publishes.

Can I ask a review site to remove a negative review?

Not through a copyright request. A complaint about an app's service is not a copyright matter, and requests to remove honest negative reviews get extra checks, as do requests that demand payment or come from free email addresses claiming to be large companies. If a fact about you or your app is wrong, ask for a correction through our contact page.

How long does a copyright takedown request take?

On rumble-rummy.net, we reply within a few working days. We check that the page and material exist, compare them with the original you point to, and confirm your ownership or authority. If something is missing, we ask by email before acting. When we remove or change material, we record the change and the date, as our editorial policy describes.

This process follows the notice and takedown approach used under Indian law.
